Giants Gaming, a Spanish esports organization founded in 2008, was known for its presence in various esports titles, most notably League of Legends (where they competed in the European LCS) and Rainbow Six Siege (with teams in both Southeast Asia and Spain). Based in Málaga, Spain, Giants established itself as a prominent name in the European esports scene before merging with Excel Esports on December 14, 2023. The merger resulted in the formation of a new entity named GIANTX, marking the end of Giants Gaming as a standalone organization.

On August 8, 2019, Giants Gaming acquired the top European Rainbow Six Siege team, Looking For Org, prior to the Six Major Raleigh. The initial roster included AceeZ, Alphama, Hicks, Korey, Risze, Crapelle as coach, and Robz as manager.

January 2020: Giants Gaming Acquires Aerowolf

On January 9, 2020, Giants Gaming acquired their third Rainbow Six Siege team, the Singaporean squad Aerowolf. This acquisition followed Aerowolf's victories at the Season 10 APAC Finals.

December 2023: Giants Gaming and Excel Esports Merger

In December 2023, Giants Gaming and Excel Esports announced a merger, resulting in the formation of a new entity named GIANTX.
