Alex Pereira is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and former kickboxer, currently competing in the UFC's Light Heavyweight division. He is the reigning two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and a former UFC Middleweight Champion. As of February 2026, he is ranked #5 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings, establishing him as one of the top fighters in the sport.

In October 2024, Alex Pereira made his third title defense against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307, winning by technical knockout in the fourth round, earning his first Fight of the Night award. Pereira set the record for the shortest time for three title defenses in the UFC at 175 days, beating the previous record of 189 days by Ronda Rousey, and became the seventh UFC fighter to record three title defenses in a calendar year.
