Bill Cowher is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers for 15 seasons (1992-2006), leading them to Super Bowl XL victory. Before his Steelers tenure, he was a defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs under Marty Schottenheimer. After retiring from coaching, Cowher became a studio analyst for The NFL Today.
