History of Army of Darkness in Timeline
Army of Darkness, directed by Sam Raimi and starring Bruce Campbell, is the third installment in the Evil Dead franchise. Ash Williams, the protagonist, finds himself transported to the Middle Ages. To return to his own time, he must locate the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. However, his mispronunciation of a key phrase unleashes an army of the undead, led by his own evil doppelganger, Evil Ash. He becomes a reluctant hero, leading the medieval humans against the Deadites, ultimately securing the book and returning to his own time, though not without a final comedic mishap.
