China Disabled Persons' Federation

The China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF), established in 1988, is a people's organization in China representing individuals with disabilities. It evolved from earlier associations like the China Association for the Blind and Deaf (1960) and the China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped (1984). The CDPF's primary functions are to represent the interests and protect the rights of disabled people, provide comprehensive services, and supervise disability-related affairs as commissioned by the Chinese government. Guided by its motto "humanity, probity, service and contribution," the CDPF aims to improve the lives of disabled people in China.
