Devin McCourty is a former American professional football safety who played 13 seasons in the NFL, all with the New England Patriots. A first-round draft pick in 2010 after playing college football at Rutgers, McCourty was a mainstay in the Patriots' defense, missing only five games in his career. He earned two Pro Bowl selections and won three Super Bowls with the team. Known for his durability and leadership, McCourty holds the record for most postseason starts by a defensive player. His twin brother, Jason McCourty, also had a career in the NFL. Since retiring in 2022, he has transitioned to broadcasting, serving as a commentator for NBC's Football Night in America.
