Manhattanhenge

Manhattanhenge is a biannual event in New York City where the setting or rising sun aligns perfectly with Manhattan's east-west street grid. Occurring around the summer and winter solstices, the sunsets happen around May 28 and July 13, while sunrises occur around December 5 and January 8. The term, coined by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, draws a parallel to Stonehenge due to the celestial alignment with the city's grid system. It's a popular event that attracts many photographers.
