History of Shrek 5 in Timeline
Shrek 5 is an upcoming animated fantasy comedy, the fifth main installment in the Shrek film series, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. Directed by Walt Dohrn, Conrad Vernon, and Brad Ableson, with a screenplay by Michael McCullers and produced by Chris Meledandri and Gina Shay, it loosely adapts William Steig's book. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz are set to reprise their roles as Shrek, Donkey, and Princess Fiona, respectively. Zendaya joins the voice cast. It will be the seventh overall installment in the Shrek film series following Shrek Forever After.
