December 2024: Cybertruck Crash Testing Status

In December 2024, it was reported that the Cybertruck had not undergone crash testing by the NHTSA or IIHS.

February 2025: Cybertruck Fire Fatality Report

In February 2025, a report indicated the Cybertruck was "17 times more likely to have a fire fatality than a Ford Pinto", citing three incidents and five deaths, including the 2025 Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion where the occupant died.

March 2025: Cybertruck Recalls

As of March 2025, the Cybertruck had been subjected to eight recalls, some resolved via software updates and others requiring physical repairs.
