Alyssa Thomas is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. Known for her versatility and all-around game, she was drafted 4th overall in 2014 by the New York Liberty and immediately traded to the Connecticut Sun. A standout at the University of Maryland, she holds the university's all-time records in scoring, rebounding, and double-doubles (men's and women's programs), and is one of few players in NCAA women's basketball history to achieve six career triple-doubles. She has recorded a record fifteen career triple-doubles in the WNBA, and is the only player to record 15+, 15+, 10+ with 0 turnovers.
