Timmy Trumpet, born Timothy Jude Smith, is an Australian musician who has gained global recognition for his unique fusion of dance music and jazz. He is celebrated for his energetic live performances, often incorporating live trumpet solos into his DJ sets. His distinctive musical style has earned him international acclaim.

In 2011, Timmy Trumpet was the support act for Stevie Wonder at The Star Casino's grand opening in Sydney. He also appeared in a recurring role on "The Stafford Brothers" reality TV show on FOX8.
In 2012, Timmy Trumpet's collaboration with DJ Chardy, "Sassafras," reached number one on the ARIA Club Chart. It went on to become the number two track on the ARIA end-of-year chart for Top 50 Club Tracks of 2012.
Timmy Trumpet embarked on his first international tour in 2014, joining Australian DJs Will Sparks and Joel Fletcher for the Bounce Bus Tour in North America.
Timmy Trumpet collaborated with Carnage and KSHMR to release "Toca" in June 2015 on Ultra Music. "Toca" is a Big Room rework of Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" and became a staple in his live shows.
"Freaks" gained massive popularity in October 2015 when a Vine video titled "When mama isn't home" went viral. The video featured a father-son duo, Russ and Toby Bauer, playing "Freaks" on a trombone and slamming an oven door, amassing over 26 million loops.

In March 2019, Timmy Trumpet made history as the first trumpet player to perform in zero gravity, through a partnership with the European Space Agency and BigCityBeats.
Timmy Trumpet participated in the BigCityBeats World Club Dome "Zero Gravity 2.0" event in March 2019, joining other celebrities on a parabolic flight to experience weightlessness.
Timmy Trumpet announced a 60-date world tour in April 2019. He released the single "World At Our Feet" on May 10th with an accompanying animated lyric video. The tour included major festival performances and his own stages at Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
By October 2019, Timmy Trumpet's 2017 Tomorrowland set had garnered twenty-two million views on YouTube.
By October 2019, Timmy Trumpet's debut solo single on Spinnin' Records, "Oracle," hit number one on Beatport and surpassed 150 million online streams.
