History of Atlanta Dream in Timeline
The Atlanta Dream is a professional women's basketball team in the WNBA, founded in 2008 and based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. They compete in the Eastern Conference and play at the Gateway Center Arena. The team is owned by Larry Gottesdiener, Suzanne Abair, and former Dream player Renee Montgomery. Unlike some WNBA teams, the Dream are not affiliated with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.
