Carrboro High School, situated in Carrboro, North Carolina, commenced operations in the 2007-2008 academic year. Part of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools district alongside Chapel Hill High and East Chapel Hill High, it's the smallest of the three, with a total enrollment of 895 students. The school's student body is nearly evenly split between male (51%) and female (49%), and minority enrollment constitutes 42% of the student population. Helena Thomas was appointed as the principal in 2023. Its location is close to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In 2014, the women's cross country team won the 2A state championship. The men's tennis team also won the 2A dual team state championship. Max Fritsch and Jake Zinn won the school's first individual tennis title, taking the 2014 2A doubles state championship. Carrboro High School won the Wells Fargo Conference Cup and the Wells Fargo Cup in 2013-2014 for having the strongest 2A athletic program in the state.

2015: Soccer, tennis and doubles tennis won state championships

In 2015, the women's soccer team won the state championship. Max Fritsch and Jake Zinn repeated their feat from 2014 and won the school's individual tennis title, taking the 2015 2A doubles state championship. Men's swimming also won state champions in 2015.
