Cooper Flagg

Cooper Flagg is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks, selected as the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft. He started his high school career at Nokomis Regional High School before transferring to Montverde Academy. As a senior, he garnered multiple national high school player of the year awards. Flagg played college basketball for Duke, where he earned consensus first-team All-American and consensus national player of the year honors as a freshman. He was the top recruit in the 2024 class.
