Alexander David Bregman is an American professional baseball third baseman. He has played in MLB for both the Houston Astros, and the Boston Red Sox.

On April 25, 2024, Alex Bregman recorded his 1,000th career hit, a single against the Chicago Cubs, becoming the 14th player to reach this milestone as a member of the Astros.
During the 2024 season, Bregman batted .260 with 26 home runs and 75 RBI. Following the season, Bregman became a free agent after rejecting a qualifying offer from the Astros, and was named AL Gold Glove Award winner at third base for the first time in 2024.
Following the 2024 season, Alex Bregman departed from the Astros and signed with the Boston Red Sox. In his first year with the Red Sox, he made his third All-Star appearance.
