Sami Whitcomb is an American-Australian professional basketball player currently with the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) and Beşiktaş JK (Turkey). She played college basketball for the Washington Huskies before a successful stint in Australia with the Rockingham Flames and Perth Lynx. Whitcomb debuted in the WNBA in 2017, winning championships with the Seattle Storm in 2018 and 2020. Becoming an Australian citizen in 2018, she also plays for the Australian Opals. In 2025, she won her first WNBL championship and was named WNBL Most Valuable Player with the Bendigo Spirit.
