History of Copa América Femenina in Timeline
The Copa América Femenina, formerly known as the Campeonato Sudamericano de Fútbol Femenino, is the premier women's football competition for national teams belonging to CONMEBOL. Serving as the women's equivalent of the Copa América, it determines the South American champion and also serves as a qualifying tournament for major international competitions such as the FIFA Women's World Cup and the Olympic Games.
