Destin is a city in Okaloosa County, Florida, and a main city of the Crestview–Fort Walton Beach–Destin metropolitan area. Its population grew from 12,305 in 2010 to 13,931 in 2020. Destin is known for its beaches and attracts many tourists. The city's economy is largely based on tourism and related industries.
