Freddie Gibbs, born Fredrick Jamel Tipton, is an American rapper and songwriter. He initially signed with Interscope Records in 2006 but was dropped before releasing his debut album. In 2011, Gibbs joined Young Jeezy's CTE World, where he gained recognition for mixtapes like Baby Face Killa (2012).
