GLM Co. Ltd. is a Japanese company based in Kyoto, specializing in the development and sales of electric vehicles (EVs). They are focused on creating innovative EV solutions within the automotive industry.
In 1997, Tommykaira in Kyoto began producing the Tommykaira ZZ, selling 206 units worldwide until 2001. The GLM ZZ inherits the concept, car name, and logo mark of this earlier vehicle.

In October 2015, full-scale mass production of the sports car type electric vehicle Tommykaira ZZ started at a dedicated factory of Kosaka Metal Industry in Maizuru, Kyoto. The selling price was 8 million yen excluding tax, for only 99 units.

In 2016, GLM acquired a portion of shares of Savage Rivale, a Dutch automaker, and formed a capital and business alliance. The G4 will be an electric vehicle version of the Roadyacht GTS sold by Savage Rivale.
At the Japan premiere in April 2017, GLM announced that it plans to sell 1,000 units of the G4 at an estimated price of 40 million yen.
In July 2017, GLM formed a capital tie-up with Hong Kong's mainboard-listed Aulux HD.
In March 2018, GLM announced that it would focus on the platform business and concentrate on the development of the "second generation platform." As a result, plans for the G4, such as sales area, selling price, and specifications, were reviewed.
In 2018, Aulux HD, which GLM had a capital tie-up with, changed its name to WE Solutions Limited.
