Jessica Tisch is an American public administrator who currently serves as the New York City Police Commissioner, a position she assumed in November 2024. Before becoming Police Commissioner, Tisch held prominent roles within New York City government, including Commissioner of the Department of Sanitation (2022-2024) and Commissioner of the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (2019-2022). Prior to these commissioner roles, she served as Deputy Commissioner for Information Technology at the New York City Police Department from 2014 to 2019, demonstrating her long-standing involvement in New York City's governmental and technological infrastructure.
On February 21, 1981, Jessica Sarah Tisch was born. She would later become the 48th New York City Police Commissioner.
