Jim Thorpe Award

The Jim Thorpe Award is presented annually to the best defensive back in college football. Established in 1986 and named after the celebrated multi-sport athlete Jim Thorpe, the award is overseen by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Since 2017, it has been sponsored by Paycom and officially called the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award.
