Nevada Day is a legal holiday in Nevada, USA, celebrating the state's admission to the Union on October 31, 1864. The Pacific Coast Pioneer society first observed it in the 1870s, and it became a state holiday in 1933. Originally celebrated on October 31, it was moved to the last Friday of October in 2000 to create a three-day weekend.
