Niele Ivey

Niele Ivey is an American college basketball coach and former WNBA player. Currently the head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team, she previously played for the Indiana Fever, Detroit Shock, and Phoenix Mercury. Before the WNBA, she was an assistant coach at Notre Dame, where she also played college basketball. An All-American point guard, Ivey surpassed 1,000 career points and received the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award in 2001. As a fifth-year senior, she led the Notre Dame women's team to their first NCAA Championship in 2001.
