Nigel Mansell is a British former racing driver, renowned for his Formula One career from 1980 to 1995. He secured the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 1992 while driving for Williams, amassing 31 Grand Prix wins throughout his 15 seasons. His success extended to American open-wheel racing, where he clinched the IndyCar World Series in 1993 with Newman/Haas Racing. Mansell uniquely holds the distinction of being the only driver to concurrently hold both the World Drivers' Championship and the American open-wheel National Championship.
