Once Human is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2014 by Logan Mader, a music producer and former guitarist for Machine Head and Soulfly, the band released their debut album, "The Life I Remember," on September 4, 2015, through earMUSIC.

2014: Logan Mader Forms Once Human with Lauren Hart

In 2014, Logan Mader, after being away from performing for over ten years, was contacted by Monte Conner of Nuclear Blast regarding a production deal for Australian musician Lauren Hart. Upon meeting, Hart transitioned from guitar to vocals, leading to the formation of Once Human. They were later joined by Damien Rainaud on bass and Ralph Alexander on drums.

March 2018: Australian Tour Cancellation

The cancellation was due to the dismissal of the manager of Sydney venue The Bald Faced Stag, who was also the founder of the touring company, Stag Music Touring, over allegations of non-payment to bands that had performed at the venue for several months.
