Pete Alonso, nicknamed "Polar Bear," is a professional baseball first baseman playing for the New York Mets in MLB. He represents the United States internationally. Known for his power hitting, Alonso quickly became a fan favorite and broke the MLB rookie home run record in 2019. He has also won multiple Home Run Derby titles.
