Rachel Jeffs

Rachel Jeffs Blackmore is an American author and former member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS). As the daughter of Warren Jeffs, the church's controversial prophet convicted of child sexual abuse, she experienced a childhood deeply embedded in polygamous practices and strict religious doctrines. Rachel eventually left the FLDS church and has since become an advocate for raising awareness about the harms of polygamy and religious extremism. Her memoir details her experiences growing up within the FLDS, providing insight into the lives of women and children in these closed communities and her journey to freedom and self-discovery.
