Sandy Koufax

Sandy Koufax, nicknamed "the Left Arm of God", is an American former baseball pitcher for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers (1955-1966). He's considered one of baseball's greatest pitchers. Koufax was the first three-time Cy Young Award winner, unanimously each time, and the 1963 National League MVP. He retired at 30 due to elbow pain and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972 at 36, the youngest player ever elected.
