The FedEx St. Jude Championship, formerly known as the Westchester Classic, is a PGA Tour event that started in 1967. It's significant for its long-standing partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since 1970, which is the tournament's designated charity. Since 2007, it marks the beginning of the FedEx Cup playoffs, featuring the top 70 players (previously 125) in the FedEx Cup standings.
