USA Basketball (USAB) serves as the governing body for basketball in the United States and represents the country in FIBA competitions. USAB is responsible for selecting and training the USA men's and women's national basketball teams for the Olympic Games and other international tournaments. Retired General Martin Dempsey is the chairman of the board.
