History of Acura in Timeline
Acura is the luxury and performance division of Honda, primarily serving the North American market. Launched in 1986, Acura focuses on marketing upscale vehicles. Currently, Acura is sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, and Kuwait, with past sales in China, Hong Kong, Russia and Ukraine. Plans to introduce Acura to Japan were cancelled due to the 2008 financial crisis.
