The Austin Western Railroad (AWRR) is a Class III short-line railroad based in Round Rock, Texas, and a subsidiary of Watco. AWRR operates on 126 miles of track owned by Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, running from Fairland to Giddings, Texas, with a branch line to Marble Falls. Approximately 28 miles of track between Fairland and Llano are currently out of service, forming the Austin and Northwestern Railroad Historic District.
