History of CNN-News18 in Timeline

CNN News18 is an Indian English-language news television channel established by Raghav Bahl and based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is co-owned by Network18 Group and Warner Bros. Discovery. December 2005: Launch of CNN-IBN in India

On December 18, 2005, Turner Broadcasting System and TV18 Broadcast Limited launched CNN-IBN in India to reach a wider Indian audience. TV18 Broadcast Limited managed the channel, utilizing the CNN brand under license.
