Cody Campbell is an American businessman and former football player. He played offensive line for Texas Tech University before a brief stint with the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL. In 2018, Campbell and his partner merged their company with FourPoint Energy to create Double Point Energy.
In 2019, Campbell was named the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Distinguished Alumnus.
In April 2021, Campbell became a member of the Texas Tech University System board of regents. He also played a major role in his alma mater's NIL initiative.
In April 2021, Double Point Energy was sold to Pioneer Natural Resources.
In 2021, Governor Greg Abbott appointed Campbell to the Texas Tech System Board of Regents.
In 2022, Campbell and Sellers formed Double Eagle Energy Holding IV, in partnership with Encap Energy Capital.
In September 2024, Tumbleweed Royalty IV, co-founded by Sellers and Campbell, was sold to Viper Energy Inc.
In February 2025, Double Eagle Energy Holding IV was sold to Diamondback Natural Resources.
In April 2025, Campbell became the board chair of the Texas Tech University System.
