Dave Roberts, nicknamed "Doc", is the current manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Prior to his managerial career, he was an MLB outfielder for ten years, playing for five different teams. A significant moment in his playing career was a crucial stolen base for the Boston Red Sox during the 2004 American League Championship Series, contributing to their World Series victory. Before managing the Dodgers starting in 2016, he coached for the San Diego Padres.
