Drake Court Apartments and the Dartmore Apartments Historic District

The Drake Court Historic District in Midtown Omaha, Nebraska, originally known as the Dartmore Apartments Historic District, encompasses buildings constructed between 1916 and 1921. Featuring Georgian Revival, Colonial Revival, and Prairie School architectural styles, the area was designated a City of Omaha Landmark in 1978 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Initially spanning 6.5 acres with 19 buildings, the district's boundaries were adjusted in 2014. This involved adding three buildings and removing repurposed open space, resulting in a current size of 4.24 acres. The name was also updated to Drake Court Historic District.
