2012: Tampa Bay Rebels win first FBA championship

In the inaugural 2012 season, the Tampa Bay Rebels defeated the Heartland Prowl to win the first FBA championship.

October 2013: Miami Midnites Join FBA

In October 2013, the FBA owners voted to accept the expansion application of the Miami Midnites, owned by Jeffrey Rosen.

2013: Heartland Prowl win FBA Championship

In 2013, the Heartland Prowl defeated Tampa Bay with a score of 111-109 to win the FBA Championship. Arnold Lewis of the Prowl was named FBA Finals MVP, scoring 27 points.

May 25, 2014: Tampa Bay defeats Miami

On May 25, 2014, Tampa Bay defeated Miami with a score of 104-103.

October 2014: Marion County Showtime Stallions join FBA

In October 2014, Marion County Showtime Stallions were added as a FBA member.

2014: Miami Midnites win FBA title

In 2014, the Miami Midnites captured the FBA title in their inaugural season after going 11-1 and only losing one game.

October 2015: Space Coast Stars join FBA

In October 2015, Space Coast Stars were announced as the newest FBA expansion club.

October 2015: Tampa Bay Saints Added

In October 2015, just before the new season Tampa Bay Saints were added after the Heartland Prowl ceased operations.

2015: Miami Midnites repeat as FBA champions

In 2015, Miami Midnites repeated as FBA champions, finishing with a perfect 14-0 record. Amir Celestin was named MVP after scoring 39 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

2015: Marion County Stallions cease operations

In the 2015 season, the Marion County Showtime Stallions played out of Ocala, but ceased operations before the end of their season.
