Gabriela Ruffels is an Australian American athlete who transitioned from tennis to professional golf. Initially a promising tennis player, achieving a number one junior ranking in Australia at age twelve and winning 21 ITF doubles events, she switched to golf in 2015. After golf, she competed primarily in Australia before joining the USC Trojans women's golf team in 2018. While at USC, Ruffels participated in the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships from 2018 to 2019 in both individual and team events.
