Shilo D. Sanders is an American football safety currently playing for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. His prior experience includes playing for the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Jackson State Tigers. He is the son of Deion Sanders, a Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback and the head coach of the Buffaloes.

In 2019, Shilo Sanders began his collegiate football career with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
In 2020, Shilo Sanders had a breakout season with the Gamecocks, recording 32 tackles, including a tackle for loss, and a pass deflection. After the season, he decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Shilo Sanders transferred to Jackson State University in 2021. During his first season with the Tigers, he recorded 39 tackles, seven pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and four interceptions, earning him Second Team All-SWAC honors.
In 2022, Shilo Sanders suffered an ACL injury while playing for Jackson State, limiting him to only seven games. Despite the injury, he still managed to record 20 tackles and an interception. Following the season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal once again.
