Gage Workman is an American professional baseball third baseman currently playing for the Chicago White Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Chicago Cubs and made his MLB debut in 2025. His career is focused on playing third base professionally in MLB.
In 2017, Gage Workman batted .396 during his baseball season at Basha High School. Following the season, he was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 14th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, but he did not sign and chose to play college baseball at Arizona State University instead.
In 2018, during Gage Workman's freshman season at Arizona State University, he appeared in 50 games, starting in 48, and achieved a batting average of .276 with three home runs and 25 RBI. He also played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Brewster Whitecaps.
In 2020, Gage Workman was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the fourth round as the 102nd overall pick in the Major League Baseball draft and signed with them. He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
