Giants Gaming, a Spanish professional esports organization founded in Málaga, Spain in 2008, was known for its presence in various esports titles. The organization notably had a League of Legends team that competed in the European League of Legends Championship Series. Additionally, they had two Rainbow Six Siege teams, one from Singapore participating in the Southeast Asian Pro League and another from Spain participating in the Spanish Nationals. On December 14, 2023, Giants Gaming merged with Excel Esports, resulting in the formation of a new entity called GIANTX.

2008: Giants Gaming Founded

In 2008, Giants Gaming was founded in Málaga, Spain, marking the beginning of the esports organization.

June 2018: Acquisition of Rainbow Six Siege Team

On June 8, 2018, Giants Gaming acquired its first Rainbow Six Siege team. This Spanish team became one of the top teams in Spain.

August 2019: Acquisition of Looking For Org

On August 8, 2019, Giants Gaming acquired the top European Rainbow Six Siege team Looking For Org. The team placed 5-8th after defeating Evil Geniuses and Ninjas in Pyjamas but falling to ForZe Esports in the quarter-finals.

January 2020: Acquisition of Aerowolf

On January 9, 2020, Giants Gaming acquired their third team, the Singaporean Rainbow Six Siege squad Aerowolf. Before the acquisition Aerowolf defeated Fnatic and Nora-Rengo in the Season 10 APAC Finals. At the Six Invitational 2020, Giants lost to MiBR and Team Liquid in the group stage.

December 2023: Merger with Excel Esports

In December 2023, Giants Gaming and Excel Esports announced a merger, resulting in the formation of GIANTX.
