Gina Hinojosa is an American lawyer and politician currently serving as a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 49. She assumed office on January 10, 2017, after winning the November 2016 general election, succeeding Elliott Naishtat. Hinojosa represents the 49th District in the Texas House.
