Glasses, also known as eyeglasses or spectacles, are frames with lenses worn in front of the eyes to correct or assist vision. They consist of lenses mounted in a frame that sits on the bridge of the nose and is held in place by temples, or earpieces, that hook over the ears. The lenses can be either clear or tinted. Glasses are a common vision aid for various refractive errors.
