History of Hocus Pocus 2 in Timeline
Hocus Pocus 2, a sequel to the 1993 film, sees the return of the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy). The movie is centered around three young women in present-day Salem who accidentally resurrect the witches. They must figure out how to stop the Sanderson sisters from wreaking havoc on the town before dawn. Doug Jones reprises his role, and new cast members include Sam Richardson, Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, Tony Hale, and Hannah Waddingham. The film is directed by Anne Fletcher.
