Jack Teixeira is an American airman who served in the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. He was arrested in April 2023 for allegedly leaking hundreds of classified Pentagon documents. He was charged with violating the Espionage Act of 1917 for unauthorized retention and transmission of national defense information, as well as unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents. In March 2024, Teixeira pleaded guilty to six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information.
