Jannik Sinner is a highly accomplished Italian professional tennis player, currently holding the world No. 1 ranking, a historic first for Italy. He boasts an impressive record of 19 ATP singles titles, highlighted by major victories at the 2024 Australian Open, 2024 US Open and 2025 Australian Open. Sinner's achievements also include winning the 2024 ATP Finals and securing four Masters 1000 titles. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role in Italy's Davis Cup triumphs in 2023 and 2024.
In August 2001, Jannik Sinner was born in Innichen, South Tyrol, Northern Italy, to Hanspeter and Siglinde Sinner.
In 2008, at the age of seven, Jannik Sinner won a national championship in giant slalom, showcasing his early talent in skiing.
In 2012, at the age of eleven, Jannik Sinner became a national runner-up in skiing, continuing his success in junior skiing competitions.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jannik Sinner launched his mental health initiative "What's Kept You Moving", a series in which he interviewed other young athletes about overcoming mental health challenges in sports.
