Jonathan Kuminga is a Congolese professional basketball player currently playing for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He was a highly-rated five-star recruit who bypassed college to play for the NBA G League Ignite. Kuminga completed his high school career at The Patrick School in New Jersey. He was considered a top prospect before entering the NBA.
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 103-89 in Game 7. Jonathan Kuminga played a key role while Steve Kerr made crucial lineup adjustments. Houston needs more development before contending.

On July 15, 2020, Jonathan Kuminga reclassified to the 2020 class and announced that he would bypass college basketball to join the NBA G League Ignite.
On February 10, 2021, Jonathan Kuminga made his debut with the NBA G League Ignite, recording 19 points, four assists and four rebounds in a 110–104 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors.
On August 3, 2021, Jonathan Kuminga signed with the Golden State Warriors of the NBA.
