Jonathan Kuminga

Jonathan Kuminga is a Congolese professional basketball player currently playing for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He was a highly-regarded five-star recruit and the top-ranked small forward in the 2021 class. Instead of attending college, Kuminga opted to join the NBA G League Ignite after reclassifying to the 2020 class. He completed his high school career at The Patrick School in New Jersey.


January 2019: Named MVP at Slam Dunk to the Beach showcase

In January 2019, Jonathan Kuminga was named the most valuable player of the Slam Dunk to the Beach showcase after scoring 40 points in a game against Gonzaga College High School.

December 23, 2019: Season debut after transfer ineligibility

On December 23, 2019, Jonathan Kuminga debuted for The Patrick School, scoring 20 points in a win over Roselle Catholic High School, after being ruled ineligible for 30 days due to transfer rules.

On January 24, 2024, Jonathan Kuminga scored 25 points on perfect 11-for-11 shooting, tying Chris Mullin's Warriors franchise record for most made shots in a game without a miss, in a victory against the Atlanta Hawks.
