Juan Alberto 'Juancho' Hernangómez Geuer is a Spanish professional basketball player who currently plays for Panathinaikos in the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. He also competes internationally with the senior Spanish national team. Hernangómez was selected 15th overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2016 NBA draft and has played seven seasons in the NBA, representing teams like the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, and Toronto Raptors.
In 1993, Juancho Hernangómez's mother, Margarita Geuer Draeger, won a European championship with the Spain national team.

In 2007, Juancho Hernangómez began playing competitive basketball with the youth teams of CB Las Rozas. He later joined Real Madrid's youth squad before moving to Club Baloncesto Majadahonda.

On August 9, 2016, Juancho Hernangómez signed his rookie scale contract with the Denver Nuggets.
