A King cake, connected to Epiphany celebrations, is a cake with a hidden 'fève' inside, traditionally a figurine of the Christ Child. The cake's form and ingredients vary by region. The person who finds the fève in their slice is rewarded with a prize. Modern fèves can be made of different materials but retain the representation of the King or Baby Jesus.
